Boris Johnson resigned as Foreign Secretary yesterday over his disagreement with how May is handling Brexit.
Johnson’s resignation comes days after May got an agreement in place from senior ministers on an EU exit strategy following a meeting the Prime Minister’s retreat at Chequers.
Jeremy Hunt has been named as the new Foreign Secretary and Dominic Rabb as the new Brexit Secretary.
Meanwhile in his resignation statement, Johnson said that Britain was on its way to having a status of a colony, heading towards a semi-Brexit and that the Brexit dream itself is dying because it was being suffocated by needless self-doubt.
There’s rumblings of a possibly heave against Theresa May’s leadership over her handling of Brexit negotiations.
