Former Ireland footballer Jason McAteer spoke candidly on last night’s Ray D’Arcy show about his struggles with depression.
The Liverpool footballer has made a documentary about the pressure young men are under in football and he also documented his own personal fight with depression.
McAteer said that even his own team mates knew nothing about the problem. He did his best both in last night’s interview and his new documentary about shining a light on depression in society.
