A 22-yr-old Irishman is fighting for his life today in Ocean City, Maryland after getting into difficulty swimming in the ocean.
According to The Mirror, the young man suffered a cardiac arrest after stormy conditions left him and three friends stranded in strong waters.
The alarm was raised and all four were taken to Atlantic General Hospital where it’s understood the young man’s condition is said to be extremely serious.
It’s understood he is in America on a J1 student working holiday visa for the summer.
