As if they hadn’t enough to deal with hurricane Matthew, multiple law enforcement agencies are responding to a hostage situation at a McDonald’s restaurant in Lakeland, Florida.
A gang ran into the fast food restaurant following a suspected armed carjacking which happened at 1608 Ladora Drive in Brandon, Hillsborough just before 4:30pm Irish time.
Two thieves was in a police chase and thus carjacked a driver and have left the car in the McDonald’s carpark.
