Gardai have confirmed a man in his 40s has been stabbed to death in a house in Raheny in Dublin.
No further details have been released as to whether it was a robbery or the man was known to the attacker.
Gardai say the victim was stabbed multiple times in the attack and he is said to have tragically died at the scene.
Gardai have arrested a man in connection with the murder.
