Tayto park in County Meath is in complete lockdown tonight after at least 12 people have been rushed to hospital.
At approximately 9pm tonight, a stairs collapsed at Tayto Park in a Halloween stage.
Health and safety authorities will launch an investigation after the terrifying incident at the Meath attraction.
At least two ambulances were called to the scene and helped attend to customers who fell when the steps collapsed.
Eyewitness said officials immediately cordoned off the area where the accident happened, and it is not clear how many park goers were affected.
A spokesperson for Tayto Park confirmed that there had been “an incident”, they have confirmed they will be releasing a statement in the morning.
