Since Friday evening, search workers have claimed they have discovered another crew member of Rescue 116, Mark Duffy.

His body was in the wreckage off the helicopter located off the Mayo coast.

Search workers notified personnel of the discovery and word quickly spread with media announcing Mark Duffy’s body was found.

Calmer see conditions today allowed search divers remove the Dundalk man’s body from the wreckage and a formal identification will be made this afternoon.

The wreckage itself is due to be removed later today.

Two more crew members, Ciaran Smith and Paul Ormsby are still missing.

Captain Dara Fitzpatrick was laid to rest last week in Dublin.
