Former Chelsea and Manchester United footballer Ray Wilkins is in critical condition in hospital after suffering a heart attack and a serious fall in his home.
According to The Daily Mirror newspaper, the Sky Sports pundit has been placed into a medically induced coma.
It is believed the ex-England International 61, suffered cardiac arrest and a fall at his home in Cobham, Surrey on Thursday.
The paper states that Wilkins family have held a bedside vigil for the former footballer who was also an assistant manager for Chelsea Football Club.
They also say Wilkins is being treated at St George’s Hospital, in Tooting, South London, and he currently remains intensive care.
