Breaking: Former Republic of Ireland international Liam Miller sadly passes away aged 36




There was some sad news announced in the past hour as former Republic of Ireland international Liam Miller sadly passed away following a battle with pancreatic cancer.

The news of Miller’s death was announced  confirmed who by Liam’s close friend Tam McManus via twitter. 

During his career Miller earned 21 senior caps for his country between 2004 and 2009 and scored one goal against Sweden at Landsdowne Road. 

The Cork native also had spells with Manchester United, Celtic and Leeds United.
