According to reports in the US, the former President of the Untied States of America George H.W Bush is in intensive care in hospital.
The news of President Bush’s comes less than two days after he buried his late wife Barbara who sadly passed away last week.
In a statement President Bush’s spokesman Jim McGrath said the following: “President Bush was admitted to the Houston Methodist Hospital yesterday morning after contracting an infection that spread to his blood.”
“He is responding to treatments and appears to be recovering. We will issue additional updates as events warrant.”
Bush was admitted to the hospital on Sunday morning with an infection.
However a source close to the former President has revealed that his condition has significantly worsened and he has developed sepsis.
The source added the former President is in critical condition.
