Gardai have confirmed that they’ve arrested an 18-yr-old man in connection with the life-threatening injuries sustained to a 10-week-old baby from Ardee, County Louth.
Initial reports have suggested the infant from Ardee, sustained a number of life threatening injuries after a dispute broke out at her home.
It’s understood that her mother was not at home at the time but a man was in the apartment.
Gardai have confirmed they arrested a man at 6:30pm this evening in relation to the baby’s serious injuries.
He is being detained in Dundalk garda station and is currently being questioned.
