Gardai in Co Sligo have officially launched a murder investigation following the discovery a 30 year old woamn’s body on Tuesday.
The investigation comes after the body which was found in the Holywell Road area on the outskirts of Sligo town, was identified to be that of missing woaman Natalia Karaczyn.
Ms Karaczyn who had been reported missing from her home in Crozon Park on Sunday, was found following a nationwide appeal.
Gardai investigating the incident say they are treating Ms Karaczyn’s death as murder. They also confirmed that a 32 year old man remains in custody after he was arrested in connection with Ms Karaczyn’s disappearence.
