The HSE have issued the appropriate protocols after a young girl sadly passed away from suspected meningitis.
It is understood the HSE initiated the protocols after two primary school children at Co Meath school contracted the fatal illness.
According to RTÉ News one of the girls sadly passed away earlier today, whilst another remains in critical condition in hospital.
The HSE have issued a statement saying that they are currently in liason with both the girls family and their school.
