It has been confirmed in the past hour that Growing Pains star Alan Thicke has sadly died at the age of 69.
The actor who is the father of ‘Blurred Lines’ singer Robin reportedly had a heart attack whilst playing hockey with his son.
However despite best efforts by doctors he sadly died in hospital a short time later.
Thicke was best known for his role on the sitcom Growing Pains, and most recently appeared on Netflix’s Fuller House, Thicke also had a number of guest appearances on the popular US sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
