Ibrahim Halawa, the 21-yr-old who was thrown in jail after the Muslim Brotherhood protests in Cairo in 2013 has been released from prison.
Halawa got off and was freed from charges after he was jailed after being arrested for his involvement in the Muslim Brotherhood protest in Cairo in August 2013.
It’s been around a month since Halawa was acquitted of all charges related to a mass protest in Cairo.
Recently, his father Hussein Halawa, the imam of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland in Clonskeagh, said that homosexuality was sinful.
