Katie Taylor has spectacularly won her third professional fight after putting an end to her super-featherweight meeting with Monica Gentili with a stoppage in the fifth round in London’s o2 arena.
Taylor is now being pushed by promoter Eddie Hearn to become a world champion with a possible world champion bout being held in Croke Park.
Taylor was fighting on the undercard of David Haye’s fight against Tony Bellew.
