A gunman who barricaded himself inside a bus on the Las Vegas Strip has finally surrendered.
He shot a passerby dead in the process of the situation.
The attack prompted a complete shutdown of the busy Las Vegas strip police confirmed.
The standoff began after a shooting was reported on Las Vegas Boulevard in the heart of the Strip near the Cosmopolitan hotel-casino when the man broke into a bus and stayed there for an hour.
