The Spanish Health Minister, Ana Mato, confirms that a nurse assistant who treated a priest and a missionary infected with Ebola, both of whom died, has now tested positive for the deadly disease herself.
This makes her the first person to catch Ebola outside the African continent.
It is understood that the nurse, who is married but childless, began showing symptoms six days ago.
