According to reports in the US this morning at least one has been killed and seven others have been injured after after a fair ground spinning ride accident occurred in Ohio on Wednesday night.
It is understood a number of people were hurled off the ride which was going at great speed.
Media outlets say at least one person has died whilst seven others were injured in the accident which happened on the opening day of the Ohio State Fair.
Speaking about the tragic accident Columbus Battalion Chief Steve Martin revealed that the accident occurred after the Fire Ball ride malfunctioned.
Mr Martin also said five of the injured are currently in critical condition whilst two others were in stable condition in hospital.
