Police in the UK have revealed the identity of the man behind the latest terrorist attack to hit London. In the past hour a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police have identified the man as 47 year old father of four Darren Osbourne.
Mr Osborne, who grew up in the seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset, before moving to Pentwyn, Cardiff had allegedly planned his attack which claimed the life of one person and injured ten others in the Finsbury Park area of the city in the early hours of this morning.
According to reports in the UK Osbourne who is not known to authorities purposely hired a van for £80 a day to carry out the attack.
Although Osbourne’s motives are not yet known a number of eyewitnesses have said the attacker shouted that he was “going to kill all Muslims” before adding “I did my bit”.
It is also reported that Osbourne blew a kiss from a police van after he was arrested.
