The legendary country western singer ‘Big Tom’ McBride has sadly passed away this morning, his family have confirmed.
The 81-yr-old is perhaps the best know country western singer in the country with massive success, especially during the Showband era.
Northern Sound FM posted the family’s statement:
”It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father Big Tom McBride(RIP) this morning.
Dad passed away peacefully in the company of his family.
He will be sadly missed by all who new him.
May he rest in peace”
