It has veen revealed in the past hour that the Association of Secondary Teachers Ireland is to suspend its industrial action with immediate effect following the intervention of a third party.
The move comes after the intervention of a third party mediator, the news now means that hundreds of secondary schools will re-open tomorrow.
It is understood the ASTI agreed to the idea of a third-party mediator stepping in to help resolve its dispute.
