Beloved actress Carrie Fisher, 60, has died in the intensive care unit in a LA hospital today, after suffering cardiac arrest on board a flight.
Fisher, who played Princess Leia in the 1977 sci-fi blockbuster Star Wars, was travelling on an United Airlines flight between London and Los Angeles when she fell ill on December 23rd.
Information has just been released stating that the actress has sadly passed away.
