Initial reports are coming through from Paris saying that a man attacked them with a hammer outside Notre Dame Cathedral.
Paris police have announced that they are attending an “incident” at Notre Dame Cathedral and for all members of the public to stay away and vacate the area immediately.
They have no released further information other than an armed response unit is now said to be in the area.
It’s being reported in France that police have shot at one man who attacked them with a hammer.
