A man aged in his late 20s has been shot in James Larkin House flats complex on to North Strand, Dublin at 9:45pm.
Gardai say the man’s condition was life threatening when he was rushed to the Mater Hospital with severe shotgun wounds to his stomach.
They have confirmed in the last few minutes that the man has died from his injuries.
