According to reports in Germany three people have been seriously after a man driving a car drove through a group of pedestrians in the German city of Heidelberg.
Police say the are unsure of the attackers motives, but they have ruled out a terrorist attack.
It is understood the attacker who.was armed with a knife, was shot and injured by police in a brief standoff after he fled from the scene on foot.
Local media reports say three people have been seriously injured in the incident, with one person thought to be in critical condition.
