Irish comedian Sean Hughes, who was a team captain on Never Mind the Buzzcocks on BBC Two, has died aged 51.
His spokesman said that Mr Hughes died yesterday after a battle with liver cirrhosis.
Fellow comedians including Al Murray, Katy Brand, David Schneider and Jason Manford have paid tribute to the well liked comedian.
