Two teenagers are in critical condition in hospital this evening after they got into difficulties swimming in Ennis, Co Clare, this afternoon.
According to RTÉ News, the two boys who were airlifted to University Hospital Limerick, got into difficulties whilst swimming with a group at a quarry on the Tullagh Road located just outside the town.
It is believed emergency services were alerted to the incident shortly after 3:30pm.
