Brexit fears loom, as demand for Irish passports tops up 500,000 so far this year





The Brexit fear factor is being blamed for a sharp increase in demand for Irish passports.

500,000 and counting have been issued this year thus far, and the trend looks set to continue.

According to predictions by the Passport Service, the number of Irish passports issued will likely surpass 800,000 by the end of this year.
