Bridging the gap: UK and French government’s looking at proposals that would see a bridge being built in the English Channel

The British and French government’s are reportedly looking at alternative transport routes between the two countries that will apparently improve relations between the two countries.

Under the new proposals revealed by the UK’s Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, the two countries are discussing alternative transport routes that would see less reliance on the channel tunnel.

In an announcement during the French and British summit Mr Johnson said both countries with the biggest economies in the world should build on their relations and have an easier connection between the two.

It is thought both the British and French government’s will purposely create a panel that will discuss the possibility of building a bridge across the English Channel.

Mr Johnson added both our nations have worked together in the past to create cutting edge technologies, and I fully believe the construction of a bridge between the two nations would not only improve relations, but further add further growth to our retrospective economies.
