The heavy rainfall that drenched the country over the last 24 hours seems to gone for the time being, at least.
A pleasantly bright and sunny weekend is forecast, but do put on a good coat cause it is going to be a cold one.
There will be passing showers today, especially across the west and south east of the country. These showers will clear throughout the morning and early afternoon and will give way to brighter weather.
Though some unsettled patterns are expected to remain over the west during the weekend, the rest of the country will enjoy a bright and sunny time to relax and unwind, with daytime temperatures expected to hover at around 10c, and a touch of frost at night.
