The British Government is set to look into the issue of legalising cannabis for medical purposes.
While legislation to that effect may still be a while away, the ruling party have announced its intention to consider experts’ opinions and medical advice in the matter.
British politicians have made it clear that the goal is to restrict the use of cannabis for medical purposes only. Recreational use of the substance will remain illegal for the foreseeable future.
