British Prime Minister Theresa May comes under immense pressure as she is heckled and laughed at by audience during TV debate

The British Prime Minister Theresa May came under immense pressure during last night’s live TV debate with her rival Labour Party leader Jeremey Corbryn.

Prime Minister May and Mr Corbryn who are currently in the middle of a gruelling election camaign, felt the wrath of the British public during a live interview on Sky News with Jeremey Paxman.

The conservative leader May who is seemingly losing support as each passing day goes by was heckled and laughed at by the onlooking crowd who issued tough questions to both candidates.

Although Mr Corbryn has been heavily criticised in recent weeks by the British public and the media, it seems that current Prime Minister May came off much the worse last night as she made a number of gaffes surrounding crucial policies such as health and education.

In what was no surprise terrorism was also on the agenda in the 90 minute debate and even though Prime Minister May barely managed to hold off the stiff questioning regarding the current ISIS threat gripping the country, it was Mr Corbryn who faced much harsher questioning given his descent links to the IRA.

Both candidates who will continue the campaign trail this week will have a lot more preparation to do in order to win over the British public who are growing more and more discontent at how current and critical policies are being handled.
