Brother Kevin Crowley has been honoured for his work helping Dublin homeless, in a ceremony at Leinster House on Thursday.
Brother Crowley was awarded the Oireachtas Human Dignity award for his dedication and efforts to help the city’s homeless.
The homeless campaigner is the fourth person to recieve the prestigious award and he is credited with being founder of the Capuchin Day Centre in Dublin in 1969.
The centre is known to help thousands of Dublin’s homeless people everyday.
