The veteran news anchor Bryan Dobson is leaving RTE’s Six One news today having been the lead anchor since 1996.
57-yr-old Dobson is said to be moving to Morning Ireland for a new radio show beginning shortly.
It’s not yet known who’ll replace Dobson on the news but it’s believed that it’ll be a man to anchor along side Sharon ni Bheolain.
He signs off his hat tonight at the end of Six One news.
