The Cabinet are set to meet this afternoon, with water charges apparently on top of the agenda.Although, it is understood that no formal memo will be brought to Cabinet on the issue.
However its believed that representlives from the Departments of Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform are preparing a paper on water charges.
It is also due to be discussed at the Economic Management Council meeting on Thursday afternoon.
