The devastating wildfires making their way through California has claimed three more victims after an elderly woman and her two great grandchildren were found dead at their home.
According to reports in the US, the elderly woman named as Melody Bledose 70, and her great grandchildren James 5, and Emily Roberts 4, were tragically found dead at their home by rescue workers tackling the blaze.
It is understood the family were left trapped in their home as the raging fire surround the house in flames leaving them unable to flee the area.
The latest deaths now sadly brings the death toll to six as the raging fires has led to 38,000 people being forced to leave their homes.
It is understood that Mrs Bledose’s husband had left them to get supplies, but he never made it back to them in time.
Relatives of the family also told reporters that Mr Bledose had received a phone call from his great grandson who told him that the flames were getting closer to the house.
The devastating wildfires which has already claimed the lives of a fireman and an 81 year old man, has prompted the US President Donald Trump to declare a state of emergency in California.
