Cambridge Analytica, the firm accused of harvesting data from 87m Facebook users, is to cease all operations with immediate effect, it has emerged.
The company, which has ties to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, found itself at the center of an international row involving Facebook and millions of users worldwide.
It is understood that it has now declared bankruptcy.
