Rising public confidence in the strengthening economy seems to reflect in recent car sales figures, as new car registration are set to top 100,000 for the first time in seven years.

All in all, over 126,000 registrations (that includes passenger, light commercial, heavy goods vehicles, motorcycles and used imports) have either been bought new or imported second-hand from the North or from abroad so far this year.

Statistics show that the top five manufacturers with the most new car registrations are Volkswagen, Toyota, Ford, Hyundai and Nissan.
