The cross at the summit of Carrauntoohil mountain, which was found cut down a few days ago, has now been erected again.
The restoration work has been done on a voluntary basis by Mike O’Shea, Work at Height, personnel from Liebherr Container Cranes in Killarney, members of Beaufort Community Council and local landowners.
The cross was originally erected in 1976.
