Cathay Pacific will commence a direct route between Dublin and Hong Kong next year

Cathay Pacific has announced plans to introduce a long-haul route between Dublin and Hong Kong, starting in June 2018.

The new route will be non-stop, with a flight time of just under 12 hours. The route will operate the whole year round, departing Dublin four times a week.

The aircraft chosen for such long flight is the Airbus A350-900. With a price tag of just over $310 apiece, the twin-engine aircraft seats up to 366 passengers and crew, making it an ideal choice for the journey.
