Cervical cancer victim Vicky Phelan has said she does not want to die in vain and has called on the Government to rectify mistakes in the Irish health system.
According to RTÉ News, the brave cancer patient who appeared before a Public Accounts Committee, also said she does not want revenge but instead wants to make sure that what happened to her and other victims never happens again.
Ms Phelan who was caught up in the recent CervicalCheck scandal, told the committee that wanted proper protocols and sanctions to be implemented to those who made mistakes in regards to the controversy.
The cancer patient also said she was not seeking revenge but accountability.
