Three of the country’s biggest transport operators have issued a warning to the public ahead of the probable bad weather to hit the country.
In separate announcemnts Irish Rail, Dublin Bus and Transdev have urged the public to be on alert for any potential cancellations on the coming days.
Although all services will be fully operational this morning the three companies say rail, bus and Luas services could be affected as heavy snowfall is expected to hit the country later today and then again on Thursday.
Customers who have purchased tickets are being advised to check the operators websites in advance of any planned travel.
Irish Rail, Dublin Bus and Transdev say they will be provided regular updates throughout the coming days ahead.
