Christmas is just around the corner and it is the time of year when corporate companies launch their annual advertising campaign to sell their products which seemingly have the overall effect to entice everyone, however if your keen observer of Christmas ads in particular you may have noticed something rather familiar with Aldi’s latest advert.
The popular supermarket chain who have once again have decided to use Kevin the carrot as their mascot for the upcoming festive campaign, have seemingly been caught imitating the ever popular Coca Cola advert.
The advert which has been running for the past number of days shows Kevin driving a familiar looking truck which is synonymous with Coca Cola for the past two decades.
In the advert the hapless carrot is seen driving a festive truck before he and the truck are left hanging on a cliff edge leaving his fate unknown until the next advert in what will presumably be a series of adverts telling the tale of Kevin’s Christmas story.
Kevin is back, but this time it’s a cliff hanger.

But if your thinking the similarities in the adverts is leading to probable legal case between the two companies, you may very well be wrong as Coca Cola have seemingly seen the funny side of Kevin’s predicament and have decided to take Twitter and enter into a harmless bit of banter with Aldi.
