Christmas Miracle: Doctors and Nurses in attendance save woman’s life at Christmas Mass

In what transpired to be a Christmas miracle, a woman’s life was saved yesterday when she fell ill at Christmas midday Mass in Christ the King Church in Caherdavin, Limerick.

6 doctors and 4 nurses were luckily in attendance and quickly hurried to the lady’s aid when The Very Rev Thomas A. Ryan requested help.

The woman, who is in her 50s, is believed to have suffered a stroke, and is now recovering in hospital.

The doctors and nurses are believed to have literally saved her life with their fast thinking and acting. If they hadn’t been in attendance, the lady would certainly have been far worse off, one witness said.

Fr Ryan continued the Mass as best he could, giving the scene as much privacy as possible.

An ambulance quickly brought the lady to hospital where her condition is believed to be stable and that she will thankfully recover.

Another witness said:
“It was a Christmas miracle if ever there was one, thank God those people were also going to Mass.”
