Have you ever wondered what a Christmas tree tastes like, well if you are like us you probably haven’t ever really given it any thought at all.
But if you are at all curious you now have the chance to find out as a popular British supermarket chain is selling Christmas tree flavoured crisps.
Although the idea sounds somewhat bizarre, the festive themed snack is as real as it sounds as the crisps are made from the oil extracted from pine needles.
The extraordinary snack which is on sale in Iceland, has left many consumers confused as to why such a product is made.
Well it seems the popular supermarket chain has released the luxury crisp range which also includes “Lobster Cocktail” and “Pigs in Blankets”, as part of their attempts to introduce more festive themed snacks.
Although it is not known whether the Christmas tree crisps will be on sale in Ireland, we are pretty sure they will be tested by many of a palate this coming holiday season.
