Co Meath man fighting for his life after two Italian scumbags tackle him with a belt and allegedly also a hammer

It’s understood this morning that the victim of Tuesday night’s violence outside Anfield may have been hit with a hammer as well as a belt.

53-yr-old Sean Cox from Dunboyne, Co. Meath is said to be in critical condition with potential life threatening injuries have being set upon by two Italian scumbags during a fracas outside Anfield.

It’s understood that two Italian thugs have been arrested by Merseyside Police after they were caught viciously beating up the 53-yr-old Irish fan who travelled to Anfield for Tuesday night’s game against Roma.

It’s understood that the man received a severe head injury after the two Italians cowardly attacked him with a belt and beat him around the head until help intervened.

Information is being posted online allegedly by people who know the family and are saying that horrifically another weapon in the form on a 10″ hammer may have been used to hit Mr Cox about the head a number of times, but it must be stressed that this accounts are only being circulated on social media and have not been officially confirmed by Merseyside police.

Mr Cox was at the game with his brother but is believed to have been on his own when the two Italians badly beat him up.

The Italians are said to be both 25 and 26 years of age and in police custody.
