Cold and showery weather will blight the Bank Holiday weekend

u better have a few indoor activities planned, as the weather sure won’t enable outdoor type things this weekend.

The weather will remain very unsettled over the weekend and into next week, according to Met Eireann.

Today, Friday, will see heavy rains across the south of the country, and temperatures will hover between 9 and 12C.

Saturday then will be mostly overcast and wet, with heavy, thundery showers at times. The thermometer will rise up to 13C.

Sunday will bring further rain, also some sunny spells will develop. Temperature wise, it will reach 16C.
