Cold and windy weather predominant over the next few days

Tomorrow, Monday, showery rain will affect western and northern coasts. These showers may be wintry. Temperatures are expected to drop to between 4 and 6 degrees towards the afternoon.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be rather stormy, and wintry showers of sleet and snow are expected on Tuesday. Wednesday will likely be very wet and windy, with persistent rain in all areas, turning to snow in places.

Wednesday night will be very cold, with lows of 1-4C.
