Cold spell on full blast, as two Status Yellow weather warnings remain in place




It’s cold out there, and getting colder. Two Status Yellow weather warnings remain in place for snow, ice, and strong winds.

The first warning covers Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Louth and Leitrim. Up to 3cm of snow are possible across parts of these counties.

Elsewhere, a wind warning is in place for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.

The forecast is for cold conditions to remain until Friday at least.
